New Curtains

We finally got curtains for our living room. I didn't realize how hard it would be to decide what color and what kind of material I wanted. But I'm excited to have them up. It makes the living room look so different!

Mr. Squirrel

I was doing dishes today and wanted to look out the window and watch the snow fall and found that we had a furry friend playing in our backyard!
It took me awhile to get some pictures because he kept running up the tree. He finally came down and was played in the snow.

He would bury his head in the snow....

and pop it back up!

Watching the squirrel was amusing, but then he ran away!

One Big Icicle!!

I originally went outside to take a picture if these icicles hanging off the back of our house, because I thought these were big. Then.....

I looked to my left and saw this one!

Dan measured it about a week ago at 7 feet long! The only thing that came to my mind was what Ralphie's mom said in "A Christmas Story", "Icicles have been known to kill people!" Even as I blog this today it is still hanging from our roof and growing!
