This is a hymn from church. I have always loved this hymn. But lately as we all struggle with our trials as a family and individually, I try to remember this hymn. This how I would love our family and friends to feel when they are with us and when they are in our home. I know that there is no such thing as being perfect and I need to remember that as I struggle with the things I need to work on. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me even though I make mistakes and I'm very grateful for this knowledge. And I hope that in return I can show Him what kind of home we are providing for Daniel and teaching him for his future family. And this hymn reminds me that I need to do just that.

Adventures in babysitting

My sister Rosie and her husband went to go see a movie and we watched Michael for them. This was our first time watching him. Rosie and Mikey needed to get out and have time to themselves. Daniel was excited to help as much as he could.

Daniel was making a laughing noise and Michael would repeat it and lean closer to Daniel. It was very funny to listen to them laugh!

Daniel's Chevelle

No, Daniel didn't really get a Chevelle. But he did put this one together! Our neighbor that used to live next door gave him 2 models to put together. This one was the easiest to do. The next one will involve glue and paint.


We are proud that he did this one by himself. He did a great job. He had fun making this as well.

New Years Get Together

For New Years Eve we were invited to our friends, The Lewis'. We all played the Wii and some ping pong. All of which was very fun. Here is Steve and Dan playing the Wii.
